If you have already completed another discipline at Level 2, for example Exercise To Music, then you can take our add on practical only Gym course. As you are exempt from the Exercise & Fitness Knowledge Theory, the cost is discounted. With Fit Training you have a choice of three ways in which to complete your course:
- FACE-to-FACE: Intensive Training Course - A mix of theory and practical workshops within a condensed time-frame: Monday to Friday for 2 weeks, including 1 Assessment Day. - FACE-to-FACE: Part-Time Training Course - For those who need to work around other commitments. A mix of theory and practical workshops: 1 day per week for 10 weeks, including 1 Assessment Day. Pre-requisites
Over 16 years of age with experience of using a Gym
Assessment
- Practical assessment (plan, teach and evaluate a Gym session)
- Multiple choice theory paper
- Internal Worksheets completed during the course
Certification
- CYQ Level 2 Certficate in Fitness Instructing - Gym
- Entry to REPS at Level 2
