EXERCISE WITH MUSIC
There are 4 modules. To achieve the full NVQ Level 2 you will need to complete the following:

MODULE 1 - FOUNDATION MODULE - THE HUMAN BODY : 3 days plus assessment

Cardio-respiratory system
Components of fitness & principles of training

MODULE 2 - CPR & BASIC FIRST AID : 1 day
CPR Resuscitation Certificate
Responding to emergencies
Basic First Aid

MODULE 3 - EXERCISE WITH MUSIC : 11 days

Teaching skills and class management
Communication skills
Use of music
Promoting physical activity
Designing circuits
Step techniques and mechanics

MODULE 4 - PORTFOLIO BUILDING AND ASSESSMENT PREPARATION : 4 days plus assessment

ASSESSMENT AND CERTIFICATION - NVQ - Level 2

NVQ LEVEL 2 - in addition to attending our NVQ Level 2 course modules, there are practical work based assessments, a one hour theory exam and completion of a portfolio of work-based assessment and teaching evidence.
